The 2010 Annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 4th at 5:00 pm at the Coffin School, 4 Winter Street. The guest speaker this year will be Dr. Jim Sutherland, discussing his recent study and reports on Miacomet and Hummock Ponds.

Every August the NLC hosts its annual meeting to review our work over the past year.  Each meeting also features a keynote speaker, usually one we bring to Nantucket. Past speakers include Dr. Steve Trombulak, Director of Conservation Biology Laboratory at Middlebury College and James Levitt, Director of Conservation Innovation at the Harvard Forest and Editor of “From Walden to Wall Street, Frontiers of Conservation Finance.” A garden reception hosted by our generous long-time supporters John and Marie Sussek, follows the meeting and both are open to the public free of charge.
