Cash, Check or Credit Card

Donate Online. Send us a check in the mail. Call our office with your Visa, MasterCard or American Express card.

Donate Stock, Securities or Mutual Funds

The NLC also accepts donations in the form of securities, stock or mutual funds. Because the Land Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we pay no tax on capital gains. When you donate appreciated securities to the Land Council, no tax will be due. You will receive full value for your tax-deductible gift, while we use the whole amount to protect Nantucket’s natural environment. An electronic transfer from your account into the Land Council’s account is a convenient way to make your gift. Gift Membership
Donate in someone’s honor or memory, or buy a gift membership for someone you care about. Simply make a note of how you want your gift attributed or acknowledged on our online form. We will gladly send a card to someone if they receive a gift or honorary membership.

Matching Gifts
Many companies will match your donation to the NLC. Check with your human resources or personnel office for more details.

Donate Land
The Nantucket Land Council accepts donations of Real Estate. For more information on donating land or Conservation Restrictions (Easements) visit our Conservation Options page or feel free to contact our office.

Make an in-kind donation
The Nantucket Land Council also accepts donations of personal property including artwork, antiques or items that may be auctioned.

Bequests
Including the Nantucket Land Council in your will provides a legacy of conservation and reduces estate taxes for your heirs.

Donate your time: Volunteer!
The Nantucket Land Council always needs volunteers to help with: mailings, event coordination, public outreach, etc. If you have time or a particular skill which you would like to offer, call or email us right away! Your time is greatly appreciated.
